Within the framework of the Heriland Graduate School Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design would like to invite researchers, policy-makers, practitioners, students and teachers to share their experiences and join in an attempt at disrupting the common understanding of concepts such as “city”, “settlement”, “village”, and “suburb”, with innovative thinking.
The track on the eclectic urban field is an opportunity for researchers to present papers, share their experiences and join us in an attempt at challenging the common understanding of concepts such as “city,” “identity,” and “heritage”, with innovative thinking. This is planned with a peer-reviewed publication.
We seek an urbanism that is inclusive, resilient, responsive, and permeable – one that can invert the late-capitalist tendencies into an ever-expanding conception of the “urban” and its mechanisms for sustainable growth.
The deadline for submitting proposals is February 15, 2023.
