These five meetings of approx.. 5 days each are vital not only to particular training and research aspects, but also more in general to the exchange of knowledge and to the collaborative, interdisciplinary and intersectoral spirit that HERILAND aims to achieve. All ESRs, supervisors and beneficiary staff members participate. Each is dedicated to one of the key societal challenges central to HERILANDand its five WPs, and organized by the respective WP leaders. Each workshop includes reporting sessions discussing the progress of the ESR projects, a Master Class on the core theme of the particular workshop, a Field school to spatial heritage project, Complementary skills training (e.g. teaching, e-learning, constructive alignment, mediation, leadership and project management) Job dating session and an exhibition.
