Anastasia Akerman studied in the UK, France, Poland and the Phillipines. She got a BA in Archaelogy from the University of Liverpool (2012), a Master in Prehistory and Quaternary Science from the Musée National d’Histoire Naturelle (2016), and a second Master in Valorisation et Médiation du Patrimoine Archéologique from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (2019).
She has worked as archeologist, as librarian and conversation class facilitator, and as translator.
